At this point you may be interested but still feel hesitant due to the fact that we will be venturing into the woods or on the water. To put your mind more at ease I want to share some of my history and certifications. I lived in Vermont from 2008- 2016, where I became involved in leading and guiding backpacking trips in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire. I also lead groups on paddling treks, mountain biking trips, and eventually I became a rock climbing guide. I have climbed Mount Orizaba which included over 18,000 feet of ice and snow, trekked through the desert of New Mexico, and have taken canoe's, kayaks, and rafts down a multitude of rapid filled rivers. The adventures we will be doing will not be anywhere near these levels of intensity, but much more peaceful and relaxing as we are doing this to heal and grow.
I could not have made it through all these adventure without a focus on safety. The last thing I want is for anything to happen to you or me. While in the session I do ask that you follow all the rules that we establish from the start. There may be specific rules for each area we are in, time of year, or the activity that we are doing. I do ask that you come prepared for the weather and bring any personal emergency medication you may need such as an epipen or inhaler. For and idea of what to wear, check out the Services page.
